Learning to Sew! (1-4pm)

Learn to sew, starting with the basics!
Students will learn how to use a sewing machine, as well as basic hand stitching techniques. They will make items they can use in their everyday life from pillow cases to basic drawstring bags and/or projects of their choosing (within options available or discussed with instructor prior to class sessions).
Materials:
- Bring your own sewing machine, or contact Britta Jones so arrangements can be made for one to be available.
- All other materials, including fabric, will be provided. If you would like to bring your own fabric to class, you are welcome to do so! You’ll need 1-2 yards of material per project, and there will be 3-4 projects throughout the week.
Instructor: Britta Jones
For ages 8 and up.
Minimum number of students required: 3
Maximum number of students allowed: 12
Registration closes at 5pm, Friday, July 26th.
Cost per student: $175.
