Envisioning the Year Ahead
Saturday, February 2, 2019 10a-2pm
Vision Boards are a great way to set your intentions for the New Year, while having a lot of fun! Chris Butterworth will lead us through a series of exercises to help us hone in on what we really want to achieve in the coming year, and then guide us as we create a customized board to help us bring those intentions to life. A wonderful activity for all ages…no experience required!
All materials will be provided to create a 12x12 Vision Board suitable for framing. If you have something (images or text, for example) that is meaningful to you, please feel free to bring it along. You can use it for inspiration, or include it on your board! Note: We'll be working through the lunch hour, so consider bringing something to eat! There are also some neighborhood eateries that do carry out if you'd prefer.
“Creating a [piece of art] that displays what you want actually does bring it to life. What we focus on expands. When you create a vision board and place it in a space where you see it often, you essentially end up doing short visualization exercises throughout the day. Visualization works!” —Huffington Post, 1.12.15
