Learning to Sew! (9a-12p)
Mon - Fri, July 29 - Aug 2, 2019
Learn to sew, starting with the basics!
Students will learn how to use a sewing machine, as well as basic hand stitching techniques. They will make items they can use in their everyday life from pillow cases to basic drawstring bags and/or projects of their choosing (within options available or discussed with instructor prior to class sessions).
- Bring your own sewing machine, or contact Britta Jones so arrangements can be made for one to be available.
- All other materials, including fabric, will be provided. If you would like to bring your own fabric to class, you are welcome to do so! You’ll need 1-2 yards of material per project, and there will be 3-4 projects throughout the week.
