Mixed Media Painting for Kids (11a)

This class will offer instruction in mixed media techniques for the budding creative genius!
We'll start by experimenting with ways to apply paint to paper, and create colorful abstract backgrounds. Collage comes next, using a variety of papers and adhesives. Finally, we’ll try some different stamping techniques to add text or shapes to our works of art. The resulting 9" x 12" masterpiece will be suitable for framing!
FAQ:
*This session is geared toward the 12 and under set, though older artists are welcome. Kids under 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
*We'll have aprons handy, but it's best to wear something that can get messy.
*It's important to register in advance so we can prepare the creative space appropriately!
